EVERYBODY LOVES A PARADE

With the support and encouragement of the City of Eden Prairie, chamber member Eden Prairie Lions Club is organizing the first citywide parade in 55 years. It will be held the morning of May 30th, in conjunction with the Lions Club Schooner Days celebration that Memorial Day weekend. The route will run from the west side of the high school along Valley View Road finishing on Highway 4 at Luther Way.

The parade theme is, “We Are Many, United We Are One.” You may have seen the front-page article on the parade in the December 19th issue of the Eden Prairie News. We would be delighted to have you, your business or your organization participate in the parade. Eden Prairie schools, students and elected officials can participate at no charge. For others there is a small charge for participation with a special rate for Eden Prairie businesses and non-profits.

Participation could be by a unit in the parade, as a sponsor of Schooner Days which includes marketing placements for your firm and a chance to be in the parade at no additional charge, or as a volunteer to assist with staging and assisting on parade day.
